⬛️ while also agreeing to match running gear too cos what is speed without style?? ⬜️

I love cycling in hard ten mile efforts between my weeks of longer but slower runs. Dropping the mileage but increasing the pace makes you feel like you're flying ⚡️
.
If you're training for a half I would definitely recommend adding a couple of these, but not too close to race day. It gives you the workout of sustained hard effort, can tell you where your fitness is and if its improved, and remind you what race day is going to feel like. 👀
.
In 3 weeks I'll be in Amsterdam taking in the @tcsamsterdammarathon Half by @mizunorunningeurope . No pace buddies then but alot of fast competition awaits 🇧🇧 and I'm here for it. LETS GO #BARBADOS

It's been a solid year of building fitness for me - 6th at the @themiamimarathon + clinching the Caricom 10K title.
But we are not done yet and at times getting to the competition feels harder than the training.🥵

My final big race for the year will be the @tcsamsterdammarathon in JUST 5 WEEKS.😭

As we edge closer to race day, I want to say a very heartfelt thanks to one of my sponsors BYD Barbados for believing in my crazy dream of seeing how far (and fast) we can take Barbados🇧🇧🌎.
