Caricom 10K Elite 1st Barbados 🇧🇧 2nd Guyana 🇬🇾 3rd Trinidad 🇹🇹

I really wanted the Chairman's Cup and it was not guaranteed today - I had to work very hard in the second half and the competition was very tough. I was concerned I was not even going to make the podium.
But trust and belief and patience paid off and Barbados finally secured the Cup in 39.30.
.
Hilly course but St Lucia is so wonderful. 🇱🇨
Congrats to Josh Hunte also on taking 4th place position for Barbados and all the finishers of the elite & open race, and as always love linking with my caribbean crew!

Consistency makes the biggest impact. Keep showing up - we all have ebbs, flows and plateaus. Keep moving through them.
Set goals to stay motivated. Make training buddies and join clubs to stay accountable. Set a schedule and make no excuses.
Don't plan for next week, plan for one year from now.....

I'm so excited to crack 3rd behind these two amazingly fast fellas!
Just had to win that Hilton Barbados staycation & hamper from imart !
😅 I'm cheesing cos i also ran a half marathon this morning so I wasn't expecting to feel this good but I can definitely feel some fitness in this engine 🤪

Milkshake well earned and its going to be chocolate....
